About the event
European Compliance Professionals Association (ECPA) invites compliance professionals, legal and risk experts, as well as representatives from both the private and public sectors to a special afternoon event dedicated to strengthening compliance culture, professional development, and recognising outstanding achievements in the compliance field.
The programme will feature practical insights, expert discussions, and international perspectives, followed by the Compliance Professionals Training Programme Graduation Ceremony and the ECPA Excellence Awards presentation.

Compliance Excellence Awards Categories
1. Compliance Specialist of the Year (Private Sector)
This award recognizes an outstanding compliance professional working in the private sector who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and impact in building or strengthening compliance programs within their organization.
The award highlights professionals who have successfully embedded compliance culture, improved risk management frameworks, and contributed to ethical business practices.
2. Compliance Specialist of the Year (Public Sector / State-Owned Enterprises)
This award recognizes an outstanding compliance professional working in the public sector or a state-owned enterprise who has made a significant contribution to strengthening transparency, integrity, and governance.
Candidates may have implemented compliance systems, anti-corruption initiatives, integrity frameworks, or other governance improvements.
3. Compliance Team of the Year (Company)
This award recognizes a compliance team that has demonstrated excellence in implementing and managing compliance systems, responding to complex regulatory challenges, or developing innovative compliance solutions.
The award focuses on teamwork, measurable results, and the ability to effectively integrate compliance into business operations.
4. Compliance Initiative of the Year
This award recognizes an outstanding compliance project or initiative that has significantly improved risk management, regulatory compliance, transparency, or ethical culture.
Examples include:
innovative compliance tools or technologies
internal compliance transformation projects
cross-organizational integrity initiatives
sector-wide or collaborative compliance programs
specific initiatives addressing emerging risks.
