About the event
In this webinar we will discuss:
Data protection challenges in an evolving digital environment
Rapid growth of AI, big data, and automated decision-making – the boundaries between “personal data” and “non-personal data” are becoming blurred
Complexity of data ecosystems: cloud services, SaaS, and data sharing among multiple controllers and processors
Increasing expectations of data subjects (transparency, real control, rapid response)
Omnibus: GDPR 2.0
Emerging practices in data protection compliance:
Privacy by design / Privacy by default (and by operation)
Pseudonymization and anonymization
Strengthening of proportionality and a risk-based approach
Trends in supervisory authorities’ and court practices
Greater focus on breaches with real impact, rather than solely on documentation gaps
Tightening transparency requirements (especially in complex data chains)
Growing role of collective actions and consumer organizations
Other practical issues
